I am Abhay Gupta. Diploma Holder in Multimedia Desinging includes Graphic designing to 3D Character animation. I worked for some Company in Ludhiana as a Character Animator for 2 months then I got to know about my passion towards live action movies. I want to become a Director so after doing Freelance in web designing i came to Mumbai in 2011 to study Direction and Film making.
While learning Film making i descovered my hidden interest and passion in VIDEO EDITING which was my hobby even before starting animation. As a hobby I used to do Video Remix editing for various Djs VIA FACEBOOK and due to this KEEN INTEREST of Videos Editing i got a chance to edit for some of the short films (SF) of my collegues and making so I decided to transform my hobby to my proffesion and grabbed an opportunity to work Under Ram Gopal Varma for a His movie "Department" as Assistant Editor in 2012 while persuing my course of flim making and directing in FX school.
There I started my journey as a professional editor. I also got a chance to show myself while working in few scenes of the movies "Ab tak chappan 2", "Attack of 26/11" and then later on worked as an Associate Editor and Promo Designer of the movie "SATYA 2" under RAM GOPAL VARMA direction.(Released on 8th nov 2013)
Meanwhile i continued doing freelance editing through which I worked as editor for Yo Yo Honey Singh live Concert , Pillai College's Allegria 2013 having JAckie Bhabnani, AKSCENT and much more big celebs performances. I also worked in few short films with various directors, from which, one SF has got the winning award by legend Dir.SUBHASH GHAI. Also have got my SF nominated in top 10 list in national awards.
I also worked for Bohra Bros for their web Interview show called IFI FACE OFF 2013 and their i got the oppurtunity to edit the Behind the Scenes for Photographer VIKRAM BAWA, ROHAN SRESTHA with model Angella jonnson, Model-cum-actor Aditi rao hydri etc.
At the end, As an Editor i will continue My service n try to give my best to the industry as much as possible.
